Colin Sinclair, General Manager
Colin Sinclair was born and raised in Healdsburg, California. He has been in the restaurant business since the age of thirteen, learning the trade from the ground up. His first job was washing dishes at the Downtown Bakery & Creamery, an old-fashioned establishment located on Healdsburg’s busy plaza. By fifteen he was working the counter, becoming familiar with the small town scene from the customer service perspective.
After six summers at the bakery he was hired as a busser at Taverna Santi. Like Diavola, Santi focused on traditional Italian cooking utilizing seasonal, local, and organic ingredients where possible. While attending Santa Rosa Junior College, Colin gained essential front-of-the-house experience as a busser and eventually a server in the dynamic work environment of Santi. He then transferred to San Diego State University, graduating with a degree in Business Management in 2005.
After graduation Colin stayed in San Diego working in the hospitality field for a total of three years. Shortly after moving home to Sonoma County Colin was recruited by Chef Dino Bugica to help with a new project: an authentic, rustic, Italian pizzeria. Here Colin returns to the idyllic wine country setting of his youth to work with a team that is excited about bringing a quality product to locals and visitors alike.
